Miramichi Sexual Violence Services We offer free, confidential support to anyone 16+ in Northumberland County who has been impacted directly or indirectly by sexual violence at any time in their life.
Miramichi Sexual Violence Services (MSVS) is here to support individuals aged 16 and older who have experienced sexual violence—whether the experience happened recently or many years ago. We understand that healing is deeply personal, and we are committed to walking alongside survivors at every stage of their journey.
We offer specialized sexual violence counselling, system navigation, advocacy, emotional support, and education in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Services are provided by a licensed counsellor and/or a registered social worker who use trauma-informed, survivor-centered approaches that prioritize safety, empowerment, and choice.
Whether you’re dealing with the impacts of a recent assault, living with trauma from childhood abuse, or simply want to talk to someone about your experience, you are not alone. MSVS is here to listen, believe, and support you.
